Obituary for Charlotte A. Zurick

Charlotte A. "Gee Gee" Zurick, 74, of Ligonier, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Excela Latrobe Hospital.

She was born February 2, 1944 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Ralph and Alice Logan Lenhart.

Prior to her retirement in 2007 she had been employed by the former Westinghouse Plant in Blairsville. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Charlotte loved spending quality time with her family and enjoyed taking her great grandchildren to Idlewild Park several times a week.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Zurick in 1989, and three brothers: Harold, Donald, and Harrison Lenhart.

Gee Gee is survived by a daughter, Tina (Scott) Malinish of Ligonier, a granddaughter, Lyndsey (Andy) Queer of Rector, two great grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa Queer, two sisters, Beverly (Jerry) Smith of Salisbury, MD and Loretta (Thomas) Gaffney of Lancaster, NY, two brothers, Harry (Thelma) Lenhart of Acme and Edwin (Roxanne) Lenhart of Latrobe, a sister-in-law, Bonnie Lenhart of Latrobe, and a niece and best friend, Marcia.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel, Inc., 144 East Main Street, Ligonier. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. John Foriska as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
